'Wardrobe Malfunction'
This piece explores theme ‘Space Within a Space’ and uses the technique ‘Mise en Abyme’ to effectively develop the idea of space. I aimed to express the feeling of entrapment and repetitive cycles within this piece and hope the audience connect to these themes. This piece follows development of my scenic arts/set production specialism working on progressing industry standard skills and techniques such as scaling up, creating depth and mixing colours. When it came to presentation, I took inspiration from the artist Charles Mutton, looking at how he creates his own environment and uses lighting to enhance his designs.
