Twin prize success for bricklaying apprentices at regional competition

Two bricklaying apprentices at Wiltshire College & University Centre competed in the Guild of Bricklayers’ Western Section Regional Heat at New College Swindon – both winning prizes.

Mantas Janulionis, who is based at the Chippenham campus, took part in the Senior category and finished in first place.

As a result, Mantas qualifies to represent the Western Section in the Grand Final at the HNBC Training Centre in Tamworth on the 4 July, where he will go up against the winners of all the other regional sections.

Isaac Butt, based at the Trowbridge campus, entered in the Junior category and finished third.

Congratulations to both students and we wish Mantas the best of luck in the Grand Final.
