Students on Wiltshire College & University Centre’s HND in Creative Media Production (VFX) programme got the chance to work with an exclusive piece of filming equipment this week.

Harry Neal, Charlie Mercer and James Cleaver visited Sandstorm Films near Swindon where they used their a programmable Technodolly camera crane – one of only two in the country.

At the end of their visit, the trio were relieved to be back on solid ground after being shrunk, stretched, duplicated and made to fly in a series of camera exercises!

Thanks to everyone at Sandstorm for facilitating the visit. The students all enjoyed their trip and learned a lot.
