Music students mark Black History Month with live performances

Music students at Wiltshire College & University Centre’s Salisbury campus have been celebrating Black History Month with a series of live performances on campus.

The event was produced by students studying University of the Arts London music courses, with all songs influenced by iconic black artists and genres.

The performances included vocal groups, bands and DJ sets and took place in the Performing Arts Space on the campus at lunchtime on Tuesday and Wednesday in the final week before half term.

Students involved were:

Level 1 – Joel Appleby-Marchant, Luke Osgood

Level 2 – Lucy Dawn, Paige Lewis, Leah Trebilcock, Eddy McPhie

Level 3 (Year 1) – Livvy Hubbard, Esme Winter, Rob Langhammer, Vicky Denney, Dom Kirby

Level 3 (Year 2) – Bailey Grundy, Mary Wise, Olly Sines
