RUH trip reinforces classroom learning for Health T Level students

Wiltshire College & University Centre’s T Level courses are in full swing and classes have already been getting expert insight from industry to reinforce their classroom learning.

Students on our Health T Level visited the Royal United Hospital in Bath to learn about cardiac arrests and how to use a defibrillator.

The College would like to thank Dr Raveen Kandan, a consultant cardiologist at the RUH who delivered and co-ordinated the event.

Next week to celebrate National Restart Your Heart Day, the same students will be delivering hand-only CPR training sessions to staff at the Trowbridge campus.

T Levels are new 2-year qualifications, broadly equivalent to 3 A-Levels that the College offered for the first time from September 2022.

A T Level brings classroom learning and an industry placement together on a course endorsed by employers.
