What is an apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships are a great alternative to traditional learning, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn, as you work alongside experienced staff members at your place of work and gain nationally recognised qualifications as you go.
Additional training is provided via day release to Wiltshire College, giving you off the job training and assessments to ensure you are on track. Assessments can vary depending on your chosen apprenticeship, but most are done either in the workplace, online or at a Wiltshire College campus.

You may also be asked to complete an initial English and maths assessment to determine what level you are currently at as you are required to hold a GCSE, grades A* to C (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or a Merit or Distinction in a related subject at Level 2.
