Wiltshire College is excited to announce a new collaboration which will see the delivery of a range of rural courses from the Bath & West Showground.
Starting this September, land-based skills and professional courses will run from the new Rural Enterprise Centre and in the grounds of Bath & West at Shepton Mallet.
These include Emergency First Aid at Work, Health & Safety, Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides and Safe Use of Brush Cutters and Strimmers.
The collaboration with Bath & West Innovation, supports the College’s aim to be a vital player in economic growth, raise skills and attainment, deliver excellence and innovation and inspire people to achieve with Bath & West’s mission to support, education and influence rural enterprise.
Natalie Stephens is the Commercial Development Manager for the College.
She said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Bath & West Innovation, to deliver Wiltshire College courses at their enterprise centre.
“It will expand our reach, giving learners from Somerset and the surrounding counties the opportunity to study land-based and health and safety courses with our highly qualified industry experienced trainers.
“We look forward to further developing the collaboration and expanding our offer.”
