What does this course aim to do

Develop your skills with a view to you transfering to further education courses, apprenticeships, employment, structured
community or voluntary work over 16 hours per
week or a place on New Deal. These targets are agreed with learners
after six weeks, but can change or be developed during the course of the programme. Learners are followed up after leaving to ensure successful progression.

Educational Progression

E2E is outcome rather than qualification led, but
learners are encouraged to undertake qualifications
to strengthen their overall learning, lay the basis
for future progress and achieve units of credit based vocational qualifications.
Learners can undertake Functional Skills at entry level and
levels 1 and 2,ICT courses like CLAiT and ECDL, Construction Skills
Certification Scheme and NVQ levels. They may start units of
Level 2 vocational courses prior to progression and learners can also complete units of credit based vocational qualifications.

About this course

E2E programmes are negotiated individually
with each learner but usually comprise a mixture
of work placement, qualifications, motivational activities and employability skills.
Learners each have a dedicated Training

for work placement and for confidence
building in particular.
Resolve is for young people who are unlikely to sustain a 16 hours per week initial commitment, or who may require more time to engage with education, training or employment. Learners do not receive EMA but can claim payments based on achieving agreed targets.
