Courses part funded by ESF
We work with Careers Education Information and Guidance Swindon and Wiltshire to:
raise aspirations of young people and local businesses so that young people can enter and sustain careers using STEM-skills in a range of local businesses
which is part-funded by the European Social Fund.
Wiltshire College Upskilling your Workforce with ESF Funding
As the largest education and training provider in Wiltshire, we have access to European Funding (ESF) to support businesses in Wiltshire with gaining recognised Level 2 and Level 3 accredited qualifications and bespoke training courses for free. We can upskill your workforce for FREE providing you are a small to medium (SMEs) sized business based in Wiltshire.
Eligible courses include but are not limited to: AAT certificate in Book Keeping or Accounting, NVQs in instillation Engineering and Lean Management, certificates in Team Leading, Customer Service, Health and Social Care and First Aid to name but a few.
Course delivery ranges from taught learning in a classroom environment to workplace assessment and distance/online learning.
To qualify for this limited offer, businesses must be based in Swindon and Wiltshire and employ less than 250 full-time employees. Candidates must be aged 17 years and over, and have lived in the UK/EU for a minimum of 3 years - large companies within the engineering, construction and health and social care sector also qualify.
Apprenticeships and Adult Education Funded Courses
The College’s Adult funded courses and apprenticeships prior to 1st May 2017 and apprenticeships with non-levy paying employers post 1st May 2017, are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and part financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund (ESF). ESF supports activities to extend employment opportunities and develop a skilled workforce.
The College works with The Building Bridges programme. Building Bridges is jointly funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, via the Big Lottery Fund.
