Skills Pathways
What's your next step?
Not sure which path to choose or need to take smaller steps in your learning?
The Skills Pathways provision at Wiltshire College gives you the opportunity to get a taster experience of a wide range of subject areas including catering, hairdressing, engineering and construction. You can get a flavour of college life in different vocational areas in which you would like to move on to, building your knowledge and confidence along the way. Classes are small and friendly. You will be given a named tutor to help and support you every step of the way.
Our staff are highly qualified to help you improve your functional skills and teach you in different vocational areas. We pride ourselves on the close working relations with not only you (the learner) but also with your parents and/or guardians. If you don't have the academic qualifications to go onto other courses then successful completion of a Skill Pathway may allow you to progress. Some students may need a more secure educational environment and we can provide opportunities for this. All learners will have the opportunity to achieve literacy and numeracy qualifications. We encourage participation in a range of recreational, leisure and social development activities through the Community Campus and our residential week.
