Access to Higher Education

If you want to take a higher education course but do not have the necessary qualifications, the Access to Higher Education Diploma is the first step to achieving your goal.

What pathways are offered?

In order to give you the best opportunity to get onto your chosen higher education course, you can choose from the following pathways of study:

  • Education
  • Humanities (English and History)
  • Nursing/Health Studies/Midwifery
  • Social Science - Psychology, Sociology and Social Work
  • Business and IT (Salisbury campus only)

Other negotiated pathways are possible.

Subjects at Chippenham, Trowbridge and Salisbury campus include:

English Studies, History, Human and Social Biology, Psychology, Sociology, American Studies, Business and Enterprise, IT and Politics.

Supporting your application for Higher Education.

Your personal tutor and the College Careers Service will help you find a college or university course that is right for you and help you in the application process.
