Course Fees For Students Aged 19 Or Over On 31st August 2010

If you are over age 19 on 31st August 2010 you will have to pay the course fee as shown on the course information sheet.

You may, however, be entitled to pay the reduced fee (as shown) if:

  • You are on an income based benefit such as Income Support, JSA, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Employment Support Allowance, Guaranteed Pensions Credit or Working Tax Credit (annual income limit of £15,276 applies). The College will need to see evidence of this.

  • Or you think you may be eligible for a Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement. If you do not have any previous full level 2 qualifications, eg:

    • 5 x ‘O’Levels
    • 5 x CSEs grade 1,
    • 5 x GCSEs at grade C or above
    • NVQ 2 or GNVQ Intermediate or BTEC First Diploma

    and you are enrolling on an eligible full Level 2 course, you will only have to pay the reduced fee but please check on the website to see if your course is eligible.

  • If you are aged under 25 at the start of your course and do not have any previous full level 3 qualifications, eg:

    • 2 x ‘A’Levels (grades A–E),
    • Access to HE certificate
    • OCR National Diploma
    • Advanced GNVQ, BTEC National Diploma or Certificate

    and you are enrolling on an eligible full Level 3 course, you will only have to pay the reduced fee but please check on the website to see if your course is eligible.

    To apply for this entitlement you must meet the standard LSC eligibility criteria and sign the Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement declaration on the enrolment form when you enrol.
