Completed in 2015, our Chippenham Campus provides a modern space for students to learn and access our cutting-edge teaching facilities.
Home to engineering workshops, an award-winning film production studio, professional salons, a construction centre and more, the campus facilitates industry-based teaching in a diverse range of sectors and has a vibrant, busy student life. The campus has excellent regional and national transport links. It is located directly across the road from the Chippenham railway station and is only a short walk from the town centre.
Our Engineering department features a large, dedicated workshop and labs which provide students with access to a wide range of industry-standard engineering equipment including mills and lathes, PCB production tanks, a CNC machine CAD equipment and software, programmable logic controllers, pneumatic and hydraulic rigs and a range of electronic, robotic and mechatronic facilities.

At Chippenham, we offer a fantastic range of creative arts programmes including A new Higher National Diploma (HND) in Creative Media Production will be launching this September at Chippenham, with a focus on TV and Visual Effects.
Our media division is home to dedicated Mac Suites, state-of-the-art music recording and production studios and specialist games development suites with all the latest equipment at your fingertips. At the heart of our Media department is our award-winning, multi-camera production studio, featuring a chroma key (green screen) and control room.
Students on our courses in Hair and Beauty learn in our Aspire Salons. Light, bright and welcoming, the industry-standard salons are fully equipped with a range of professional equipment and leading brands such as Dermalogica, L’Oréal Professionnel and Jane Iredale, giving students the opportunity to learn in a real salon environment using high-quality products.

Bespoke construction facilities at Chippenham are designed for teaching trades including plumbing and gas, carpentry and joinery, bricklaying and electrical installation. Taught by experienced and knowledgeable tutors, our students learn in realistic training environments with industry standard equipment.
The large motor vehicle workshops at the Chippenham campus are home to a range of vehicles, from the standard family hatchback or saloon to competition vehicles including a Formula Ford racing car and rally car. The workshops also house a diverse range of industry-standard equipment including hydraulic lifts and ramps, fault-finding diagnostic equipment, air conditioning machines, power and hand tools and CAD software. Students learn about a wide range of vehicle systems from specialist tutors with industry experience and knowledge.
Construction Industry Training Board (CITB)
The CITB is a partner in the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry in England, Scotland and Wales. Its job is to work with industry to encourage training, helping build a safe, professional and fully qualified workforce. The College trains CITB apprentices in construction-related subjects.
