Our state of the art Chippenham campus, located near the train station on Cocklebury Road, opened in 2016 with an investment of £21 million.

The Chippenham campus is home to a fantastic range of creative arts programmes, from Art and Design to Games Development, and from Film and Media to Music. Delivered by experienced, specialist tutors, our courses are a great introduction to the creative industries and are all located in industry standard workshops, classrooms and studios.
Found on the first and second floors of the building, our media division is home to Mac Suites, state of the art music recording and production studios, a chroma key (green screen), multi camera production studio with control room and specialist games development suites with all the latest equipment at your fingertips.
Art and Design students can enjoy a panoramic view across the front of the campus from the top-floor studio, home to a dark room facility and 3d workshop, as well as the opportunity to use computer rooms with access to a range of creative software.
The construction facilities at Chippenham are home to trades including plumbing and gas, carpentry and joinery, bricklaying (NEW for 2017!) and electrical installation. All delivered by our industry experienced and knowledgeable tutors, students learn in real life training environments, using industry standard equipment.
Our engineering department is home to a large, dedicated engineering workshop, located on the ground floor of the campus. In here, students will have access to a wide range of engineering experiences, including using mills and lathes, PCB production tanks and a CNC machine. Upstairs, in the engineering labs, students have access to CAD learning equipment and software, programmable logic controllers, pneumatic and hydraulic rigs and a range of electronic, robotic and mechatronic facilities.
The light, bright and welcoming industry standard Aspire Salons at Wiltshire College are fully equipped with a range of professional equipment and leading brands such as Dermalogica, L'Oréal Professionnel and Jane Iredale, giving students the opportunity to learn in a real salon environment using high quality products.
Learning from tutors who are not only fully qualified teachers but also have years of industry experience, students develop skills in not only hair, beauty or body treatments but also learn the theory behind all the practical elements and put their skills to the test providing treatments to paying members of the public. The large, bright motorvehicle workshops at the Chippenham campus are a fantastic place to study if you're planning to get into the automotive industry. Home to a range of vehicles, from your standard family hatchback or saloon, through to a real-life competition vehicles including a Formula Ford racing car and rally car, students have the opportunity to learn from specialist tutors with industry experience and knowledge, about a wide range of vehicle systems.
As well as the all important fleet of vehicles, in the workshops students will also find a diverse range of industry standard equipment and facilities, including hydraulic lifts and ramps, fault finding diagnostic equipment, air conditioning machines, power and hand tools and CAD software.
The learning resource centre (LRC) at Chippenham is one of the hearts of the campus, located on the ground floor, just off the reception. Home to a wealth of resources, both printed - such as journals, books and magazines - and digital, accessible on the large bank of free to use computers. The LRC is also where students can find the careers advice team as well as a Starbucks café, vital for those breaks between lessons, or for a pick-me-up during self directed study sessions in the LRC!
The brand new Chippenham campus is ideally situated just a few minutes walk from the train station, and just a short drive from the M4 motorway and A350 route through Wiltshire. Our facilities are the perfect environment to host your meetings, events and conferences, with access to ICT and AV equipment and a range of rooms of varying sizes and layouts to suit your requirements. CITB is the Industry Training Board and a partner in the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry in England, Scotland and Wales. Its job is to work with industry to encourage training, which helps build a safe, professional and fully qualified workforce. Wiltshire College trains CITB apprentices in construction related subjects.
