This course provides successful Motorsport Engineering foundation degree students, the opportunity to progress to a ‘top-up’ year to obtain a BSc Honours Degree.

Your Experience

Adopting the same work based learning approach as the foundation degree, students will be prepared for longer term leadership and management roles at work with the inclusion of specific motorsport management units, whilst also studying a variety of motorsport engineering principles at Honours level.

Work based learning and competition projects form an integral part of the programme. Castle Combe circuit is a unique teaching and vocational learning centre including workshops, laboratories and classrooms which has been purpose built to accommodate the course. The centre offers students the opportunity to work in an industry standard environment on cars that compete regularly, enabling them to experience the real life pressures of working in the motorsport arena in preparation for gaining employment.
