The HNC and HND in Electrical Engineering will offer you differing levels of potential progression within the electronics industry. Both are high quality work related qualifications which can offer great career opportunities. Studying the HNC will usually offer roles at ‘specialist’ level, whereas the HND will allow progression into a role at ‘engineer’ level, or continued studies to obtain a full honours degree or even postgraduate qualifications.
The courses are assessed through a mixture of continuous assessment methods using coursework assignments and some written assessments for some higher grades. Learning is achieved in labs with modern equipment and IT resources such as our online learning environment eStudy, with free access to a wide range of e-books.
