Study, assessment and qualifications
Studied over two years (part time) this course is assessed through a mixture of continuous assessment methods using coursework assignments and written assessments for some higher grades. Practical sessions take place in modern purpose-built labs with specialist equipment and software provided. Students have access to ILT resources such as our online learning environment eStudy, with free access to a wide range of e-books.

What could I do next?
On completion of the HNC in Engineering students can progress onto the Engineering HND.
An HNC in engineering satisfies the current academic requirements for membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
