Wiltshire College Castle Combe - Castle Combe Circuit - Castle Combe - Wiltshire - SN14 7EY - 01249 465228 - info@wiltshire.ac.uk

Castle Combe is the home of Wiltshire College's purpose-built motorsport centre.

The £1.25 million facility offers students the chance to work in an industry standard environment and on cars that compete on a regular basis, enabling them to experience the real-life pressures of working in the motorsport arena in preparation for gaining employment.

This opens up opportunities for students to gain work placements whilst they are studying with companies whose cars they work on.

The centre is based at the Castle Combe racetrack near Chippenham in Wiltshire.

Motorsport Engineering facilities

The facility is the first circuit-based motorsport engineering centre in the UK and used by Wiltshire College  to deliver programmes of study for its students on the Motorsport Engineering courses.

The 6,500 square-foot centre includes two classrooms, six car workshops and an engine and a machine workshop, and provides students with the opportunity to work in real-world environment.

Our dedicated staff have years of experience working in racing and rallying and we work very closely with the Motorsport industry to provide students with the opportunity to work alongside qualified engineers.
